Advisors Gather for Enhanced Transfer Program Training at RCCC

Rowan-Cabarrus Community College (RCCC) hosted an Enhanced Transfer Program training on Friday, September 18, equipping approximately 70 academic advisors with critical insights into guaranteed admission pathways.

The session focused on strengthening advising knowledge around key transfer partnerships with RCCC’s three largest university partners: UNC Charlotte, Appalachian State University, and Western Carolina University. Representatives from each institution detailed their respective program structures and application processes. Highlighting UNC Charlotte’s presentation, Robin McNeill shared key details on the 49erNext program and emphasized the critical role academic advising plays in ensuring smooth student transitions.
