Executive Board & Elections
Tau Sigma Executive Board
Thank you for your interest in Tau Sigma and its leadership! If you would like more information about the honors society or our events please email us at tau-tigma@charlotte.edu!
President:
Rosa Vasquez
- My name is Rosa Vasquez. I am a Finance major with a minor in Management Information Systems. I transferred to UNC Charlotte from CPCC. I chose to transfer here due to UNC Charlotte’s easy transfer process and breathtaking campus views. Apart from that, the university’s diversity and equity efforts assured me that I would receive the full opportunity to access any needed resources to thrive as a first-generation student. This is now my second year at the university, and I have enjoyed every second!
Vice President:
Stephen Martin
- I am Steph/Stephen Martin, and I use he/him and they/them pronouns. Though I moved to Charlotte from Tennessee in 2019, I originally grew up in South Florida. I transferred to UNCC in the fall of ’22 after I finally managed to get settled here. I first studied engineering at the beginning of my college experience in 2016, but in the spring of ’24, I will be graduating (hopefully) with a BA in English, with a minor in Linguistics. I also will be graduating with honors, with a small plan to continue on my Master’s via the early entry program. I live in the University City area with my cat Calie, and I currently work part-time at CFA. I have maintained many different kinds of hobbies, but my few favorites are writing, both fiction and poetry, and reading.
Secretary:
Sarah Vojnovich
- My name is Sarah Vojnovich. I’m a transfer student from Wake Tech, and my major is Photography and my minor is Art History. I’m very active within the Charlotte community as a student employee with the Popp Martin Student Union Art Gallery, a member of Sigma Alpha Omega (the Christian sorority at UNC Charlotte), a member of Disability Cultural Club, Phi Sigma Pi, and more. I always try to see things from multiple perspectives and always welcome views and ideas from others as together we can make a difference and impact our world in positive ways – especially as a chapter within Tau Sigma!
Position appointments are for one calendar year, January – December. If you are interested in a leadership position with Tau Sigma please email: tau-sigma@charlotte.edu for more information!
