The Advisor Development Summit 2026

The Advisor Development Summit 2026 allowed the University Transfer Center team to connect with academic advisors from across campus, learn about new advising and curriculum updates, and explore new tools and strategies to support students as they transition to UNC Charlotte. The conference’s 90s-themed “The Remix” focus highlighted innovative approaches to advising a new generation of students. 

Isabella Locklair, Graduate Assistant in the University Transfer Center, presented “Leveling Up: Using Data to Support Transfer Student Success” at the Advisor Development Summit 2026. The session highlighted key findings from the University Transfer Center’s recent Transfer Student Experience Survey and student focus groups, providing insight into how transfer and post-traditional students experience advising, campus resources, and the transition to UNC Charlotte.
