Mission & Impact

Mission:  Dedicated to facilitating a seamless transition to UNC Charlotte, the Transfer and Adult Student Center serves as a gateway and provides support and advocacy in order to promote transfer and adult students’ progression to graduation and to enhance student success. Through collaboration with campus and external partners, the Center strives to provide the resources and knowledge that are essential to empower transfer students towards increased retention and graduation rates.

The Transfer and Adult Student Center team is a resource to all transfer students, with a particular emphasis on prospective and newly enrolled students, as well as a resource to faculty and staff.

Transfer and Adult students are a valued and successful part of the UNC Charlotte community. Whether you are planning your transfer or are already here, this snapshot is a reminder that you are not alone and that transfer students thrive at Charlotte.

A list of top transfer community colleges includes Central Piedmont, Wake Technical, Rowan-Cabarrus, Forsyth Technical, and Gaston.
