UNC Charlotte Celebrates Transfer Students and Their Champions
UNC Charlotte Celebrates Transfer Students and Their Champions
During National Transfer Student Week, the University Transfer and Adult Student Center and Tau Sigma hosted the second annual Transfer Champion Awards on Oct. 19. The awards celebrated transfer students for their academic excellence, leadership and service, and recognized faculty and staff who help students find their footing and thrive at Charlotte. This fall, UNC Charlotte welcomed a record 3,154 new transfer students, a 5.6% increase over last year.
Congratulations to all of this year’s nominees and award recipients! Thank you for all you do to make Charlotte a place where transfer students feel welcome and supported, and for everything you bring to our campus community.
